Anonymous asked adhdproblems: I’ve recently started taking Vyvanse for my ADD over the course of the last few days, I noticed my appetite vanished, I can’t sleep at night, nor do I have my sense of humor as I did before I started taking it. What I despise most is that when the medicine is wearing off and I start to crash, I become really depressed to the point where I start bumming cigarettes off friends (I quit smoking summer of 2011). I like what the medicine does, but hate the side effects. Do others suffer the same way?
I’ve never taken Vyvanse, so I can’t really speak to its side effects, but maybe someone else can?
(PS: Congrats on quitting smoking. I’m not allergic to you any more!)

I’ve noticed that a lot of ADHD blogs tend to fizzle out and get abandoned after a month or two (go figure, it’s not like that’s a symptom of ADHD or anything…), and I’d really like to be able to stay active.
