Self love and acceptance takes time and work. But you’re worth it.
Since ADHD affects a lot of my life, its something I want t talk about sometimes. But whenever I mention it, my friend doesn't really understand it. If I say that to her, she'll just get mad at me and say she completely understands ADHD, and just generally gets mad at me for even mentioning it. She thinks ADHD blogs "worship" the disorder. I have nobody else to talk to about it because nobody really knows. Opinions?
No one has a right to tell you how to feel about your own experiences. Sounds like you need better friends, because that kind of silencing is unacceptable.
I’m considering starting this blog up again, but to do so, I’ll need some more submissions. All I ask is that your TEXT SUBMISSION relate to ADHD, and that it makes me laugh, because that’s how I cope.
I promise to credit you by linking the graphic to your blog, stating in the comments section that you submitted it, and putting your URL before all my usual tags.
If you’re interested, the submission box is here.

Song of the day, In My Mind by Amanda Palmer
And in my mind
I imagine so many things
Things that aren’t really happening
And when they put me in the ground
I’ll start pounding the lid
Saying I haven’t finished yet
I still have a tattoo to get
That says I’m living in the moment
And it’s funny how I imagined
That I could win this, win this fight
But maybe it isn’t all that funny
That I’ve been fighting all my life
But maybe I have to think it’s funny
If I wanna live before I die
And maybe it’s funniest of all
To think I’ll die before I actually see
That I am exactly the person that I want to be
